What We Did
This 1905 home is situated in the heart of Vancouver’s Strathcona neighbourhood.
The 3-bed, 3.5-bath home had an overall layout that lacked the pizzaz our clients were looking for. The space was broken up into small rooms that made the overall footprint feel confined. We opened up the main floor and added a large sliding door unit and a balcony overlooking the garden. To make the basement feel more connected to the home, we added a 9’ high 17’ wide three-panel sliding door with level access to the garden.
