Set Sail With Us For The 2025 East Van Pirate Ship!

Ahoy, me hearties! The Etheridge Pirate Ship Inferno has cast off once again this Halloween!

Fair winds and following seas for this year’s 14th Annual Virtual Food Drive! Last year’s marauding helped us surpass our goal of $10,000 and our final total was $11,250. Please visit the East Van Pirate Ship Inferno and The Aberdeen Halloween Mansion and help us reach our goal of raising $20,000 for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.

Thanks to your support, the funds raised helped the Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB) officially purchase its permanent home at 3454 Lougheed Hwy, Vancouver. After six moves since 2020, this milestone secures long term stability and a foundation for innovation.

The new 16,0000 sq ft facility, with 19,000 cu ft of refrigeration, ensures fresh food – already more than 75% of client menus – remains central to the GVFB work. With all operations under one roof, they are able to serve 832,000+ annual visits from across the community more efficiently and effectively. Let’s band together again this year and show that Vancouver’s spirit of generosity is as vast as the seven seas.

Will ye raise yer flag and help those in need? Every doubloon counts!

Make your donation before November 7th, 2025 — and remember, all ye receive a tax receipt for your generous contributions!

PLEASE NOTE: The GVFB is no longer accepting food collected from drives, so cash donations are key to making an impact.
